Order book
The Order Book can be opened and closed with the first button of the chart toolbar. It shows as a floating panel over the chart, which you can drag.
The panel shows, from top to bottom
5 and 10: how many levels of each side are shown (the choice is saved with the chart) the Price, Ticks, and Qty columns: the ask levels (red) on top and the bid levels (green) below, with a bar proportional to the size. Ticks tells how many ticks the level is from the best offer on the same side (the best is 1) Your buy, Your sell, Your target, Your stop, and Your average price: your orders show at the level where they are, with a blue label wall: a level with 3 times or more the typical size of the book the change of each level (for example +60 or −170): how much the size at that price changed in the last 1.5 seconds, when the change is relevant in the center, the mid price between the best bid and the best ask, the spread in ticks, and Aggression · 30 s: the volume bought at market versus sold at market in the last 30 seconds, from Times & Sales, with the net. With no trades for 10 seconds, the bar turns gray with the notice No trades for … s at the bottom, Cumulative depth: the sum of the offers from the best price, bids on the left and asks on the right, with the total of each side. Hover over the curve to see how much there is up to a price
The best level of each side is highlighted. Hover over a level to see the total up to the best offer.
Click a price to put it in the order ticket as a Limit order. Nothing is sent: the order only goes out with the Buy and Sell buttons.
