The chart AI and the Strategy lab use data prepared for each symbol and each timeframe. This data is the candle history, the patterns the AI detects in that…

11.1 Where training lives

Data preparation lives on the AI data tab of the Strategy lab (chart context menu > Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Ctrl+L). It also opens:

when you turn on the AI on a timeframe without data and click Train now; when you start a lab analysis on a timeframe without data (preparation starts by itself).

11.2 The AI data by timeframe table

The table shows one row per timeframe (1 min, 2 min, 5 min, 15 min, and 30 min), with the columns:

Timeframe Source · history: the source symbol of the history (for example WIN$D, the continuous mini-index series), the period, and the approximate number of sessions; without data, no data appears Patterns: how many patterns were detected in the history Updated: today …, yesterday …, … days ago, or never State

Possible states

In use: the data the chart and the robot use now Ready: data less than 7 days old Stale: data updated 7 or more days ago Preparing: preparation is in progress Missing: there is no data for this timeframe

At the top, the … of … ready and … with 7+ days summaries show the overall situation.

11.3 How to prepare or refresh the data

On the timeframe row, click Prepare (no data) or Refresh (with data). The Train with panel opens on that timeframe, with the suggested history symbol, and preparation starts. Follow the Preparing … card, with the source, the start time, and the progress bar. You can keep using the application.

To choose another history symbol, click New training, pick the Symbol: in the Train with panel, and click Start training. The Timeframe: is locked to the chosen timeframe. Cancel training stops the preparation.

Choosing the history symbol is useful, for example, to use

continuous contracts for indices (such as WIN$D); equivalent forex symbols; more complete historical series when the traded symbol has little history.

Other row actions

Use: sets that data as this chart's and the robot's AI trash can: deletes the data of that timeframe (if saved analyses are linked to it, they are deleted too, with confirmation) Delete all data for …: deletes the data of every timeframe of the symbol

11.4 What happens when preparation finishes

When preparation completes

the data is available to the chart and the lab; the AI recognizes patterns and draws the reading boxes on the chart; the AI Consensus panel starts showing signals; the lab can measure strategies over that history.

History: candles of the source asset for the period, downloaded from the server Patterns: signals the heuristic detects on every candle of that history Profiles: outcome of each pattern, used by the lab to measure the strategies

Common messages

Select a symbol before starting training. The selected server is not connected. Training completed. Training cancelled.
